Enroll In A Film And Creative Arts Workshops

Paving way for the May 10, 2010 elections, the U.F.O. Workshops will start classes on May 12, 2010 which will give those who are interested to enroll now and enhance their abilities in the field of arts, let it be in acting, directing, script writing, paining, film making classes and any other forms of creative art.

U.F.O. workshops have the best mentors to teach you and hone you in any field of creative arts you choose from.   Respected and well-known mentors in the film school and film industry: Armando “Bing” Lao, respected writer/director of the indie film Biyaheng Lupa; Jim Libiran, director of Tribu –a film which who bagged three of Cinemalaya’s 2007 coveted awards, will handle the Indie Bootcamp. While Patrick Purugganan, a teacher who taught in many film school and classes will handle the Total Filmmaking class.

For the Basic illustration techniques and applications Electrolychee, will be handling the class and are known for their visual artists merge illustration with design.

Jourdan Sebastian, author of Dreamer’s Manifesto will give students tips on financing your film. While Raymond Lee, producer of indie hit Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros and writer of commercial successes like In My Life, Milan, and Tanging Yaman, will impart his wisdom on how to market your own film.

Pintigan Acting workshops will be handled by Soliman Cruz, a veteran in the performance art forms, and Actors’ Pleygrawnd.  The workshop will combine an approach to acting and performance from stage to screen. Ricky Orellano, who has worked as a film and sound editor, art director, director and animator on documentaries and short features will handle basic animation. ufo’s Workshop Director is Emmanuel dela Cruz who is a noted filmmaker and TV director.
