My Cloud 9 Nail-A-Holics Nail Salon And Spa Experience

Its amazing how the hand and foot pampering services boomed in the country lately.  Left and right you will see different salons offering manicure, pedicure, foot and hand spa services at a competitive price.

When I was invited to try out a services at Nail-a-holics Nail Salon & Spa at SM Mall of Asia, I didn’t hesitate I’m glad I did I enjoyed every second in there.

Ambiance

I was impressed at Nail-a-holics Salon inviting ambiance.  I believe a guy wouldn’t mind going in since unlike other salons who has girly pink, purple or red interiors, Nail-a-holics got this beach theme going on, the interiors are mostly blue, green and brown, which is very relaxing.

The couches were huge and comfortable.   The lighting was just right.  The huge antique looking chandelier at the center was a nice attraction to the salon. I was told that the interiors was inspired by a vacation destination, particularly a beach in Greece.

I loved the gold leaf headband the staff members were wearing.  Everyone was wearing apron and a face mask while servicing a client.

Service
I tried the Cloud 9 Manicure, Pedicure, Foot Spa with Seaweed Wrap (Php 750.00). I don’t know if this was their standard procedure or just because it was a special event, but there were two staff assigned to me, one did my manicure and the other my pedicure.

The manicure started with soaking my nails in their very unique nail soaking dish. Then with the regular cleaning, removing my cuticle and then polish.

My feet were soaked in warm water for a couple minutes, then some scrub, and foil wrapped with the seaweed formula that is intended to lighten the skin. Then it was wrapped with a warm towel for a couple of seconds. Followed by the usual pedicure and applying the nail polish.

I informed the staff not to remove my ingrown because most salon do that. I was relieved to learn that they are not allowed to remove ingrown. They only remove cuticle and dead skin cells.

The experience was relaxing in fact I almost fell asleep. I particularly like the part that they don’t remove ingrown which is the usual practice in other salons. I also loved the fact that there were two people assigned to service me instead of one, which makes the procedure much faster. I was done in an hour and a half.

I had Orly Nail Polish Its Up To Blue shade on I was told it was one of their best seller.

Would I recommend Nail-a-Holics?
Definitely. Its a nice place to get your nails done and they are faster than the other salons I’ve tried. As soon as they have their branch opened at SM Fairview I will be a regular customer, that is if its a standard to get two staff at a time to do my manicure and pedicure at the same time.
