Facebook The Movie?

Admit it or not, most of us now are hooked on Facebook, some can’t event begin or end the day without having to log-in and updated their status message or just check on what’s happening with their friends or just play Farmville.

Well the Facebook phenomenon, which is valued today at a staggering $16 billion, will soon invade the movie screen as the movie ‘The Social Network’ will debut in Philippine cinemas soon as distributed by  Columbia Films.

The movie is directed by David Fincher (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and stars Jesse Eisenberg (Zombieland) as Mark Zuckerberg, Justin Timberlake (Shrek The Third) as Sean Parker, who became Facebook’s founding president; and Andrew Garfield (Lions for Lambs, Spider-Man 2012) as Eduardo Saverin, the Facebook co-founder who fell out with Zuckerberg over money.

The film is written by Aaron Sorkin (A Few Good Men) based on the novel The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook —  A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betrayal by Ben Mezrich.
