Day 1:Philippine Fashion Week Spring Summer 2011 Show

Hello everyone! Today was the beginning of another fashionable week in Manila as the Philippine Fashion Week  Spring Summer 2011 show opened at SMX SM Mall of Asia.

This season’s fashion week was opened by a Gold themed fashion show sponsored by Ponds where they introduced Ponds latest skin care collection the Ponds Gold collection and their latest endorser for this gold anti-aging product, Ms. Tweetie De Leon-Gonzalez. The show was held at SMX Hall 2 and was hosted by Ms. Tessa Prieto-Valdez. (Pond’s Presents Gold fashion show)

After that a fairy tale themed kids fashion show was held at the Function Room 4 of SMX sponsored by SM Kids where Manny Pacquiao’s daughter Queen Elizabeth was the encore. (SM Kids fashion show).

I saw some blogger friends during the Ponds Gold Radiance Philippine Fashion Week 2011 show and I took the liberty to have a photo taken with them:

Earthlingorgeous.com was so lucky to be an accredited Fashion Blogger to cover 70 designers, 12 brands in 25 fashion packed shows-all on 1 runway during  the 6 day fashion week and even if I am only equipped with my handy-dandy Canon IXUS 105 digital camera I will try my best to take good photos.

Oh a tip, if you see these towering models walking around with Sony Vaio laptops and digital cameras don’t get intimidated, approach them because they are compiling names and you could win a Sony Vaio or a Sony digicam at the end of the Fashion Week.
