I can name that 80’s tune in two notes.
As soon as the song Buttercup was played I already knew what it was and was one of the winners for the name that tune game we played at the Blog Me Up Buttercup Event at The Body Shop store in Megamall.
Rewind…
Shen and I came just in time as the attendees were divided in four groups of three members. Since we were still a bit “out-of-tune” when we arrived we became team mates and Joy was forced to join us.
Tiny containers were placed on each teams table and the TBS staff came with a scoop of body butter on our arms.
Oh! We were to do an “experiment” with the body butters , try and combine the available variants to create a new scent. There’s so many “flavors” to choose from, in fact 8 of them. There’s Moringa, Satsuma, Pink Grapefruit, Wild Cherry, Olive, Sweet Lemon, Shea and Strawberry.
We didn’t win, but it was fun playing with the butter like mad scientist concocting a new potion. Honestly, I didn’t know you can combine different butter scent with one another, so this event was a revelation.
The other team won because coincidentally they created a scent called Watermelon with the butters that goes well with the two other new products The Body Shop launched that day, The Body Shop Watermelon Shower Gel and Lotion!
This is what I won from that name that tune game with the song of the 80’s theme, a super cute The Body Shop Bag Organizer in shimmery silver!
Its so cute it got so many detachable pouches and compartments!
Don’t you just love TBS? Btw, what is your favorite TBS product?
Stay gorgeous everyone!
