I just had an overnight stay at Ascott Hotel in Makati and all I can say is it was nice.
I stayed in a two bedroom unit and its fully furnished! The room got its own living area, dining, kitchen and pantry and laundry!
The Bedroom was not that impressive and the interiors was not that extraordinary, but it was nice and cozy.
I love the kitchen! It has everything I need to make a nice meal! How I wish I stayed a little longer just to play in the kitchen!
How I wished I brought my dirty laundry so I can have fun using the front loading washer and drier

The toiletries were love! L’Occitane!
But..my favorite part though was not the room but the view, the city lights and the Sky Line. It’s so relaxing!

Ascott Hotel in Makati was not one of the best and my favorite 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms were standard although I enjoyed the kitchen and the view. The only advantage it has was its located right at the heart of Makati City an right smack of the hot malls like Glorietta, Greenbelt, Landmark and SM Makati! Food was great especially the buffet at the Cafe by the 6th! Its a perfect place to stay for those who wants to mix business with pleasure as this part of the city never sleeps!

Never been to Ascott Hotel. The view and the toiletries are perfect! 🙂
I look for a perfect bed when checking in a Hotel and so far Thunderbird Resort is still on my top list.
Here in Manila, the best hotels that I’ve ever been to is Manila Pen and Marriott Hotel. When in a hotel, the first thing that I check first is the bed, next is the bathroom, and lastly, it’s the view.
I like Ascott Hotel, too. And I totally agree with you that its very convenient to go shopping just go down and there you see the malls 😀

I think rooms like these are perfect when you have friends from abroad that’s coming over to spend their vacation here 🙂
