I’m so excited to watch Real Steel staring Hugh Jackman today but unfortunately I can’t because of my mommy duties! Haha! Anyway, I swear to watch it when its out next week, October 12, 2011, the regular screening.
Real Steel is a movie by Dreamworks Picture about a washed-up boxer in the near future who, because his sport has been taken over by 8-foot steel robots, now lives in a world where he doesn’t fit in. With no fights and no prospects, he is forced to hustle as a small-time robot fight promoter. He earns just enough money to survive by piecing together low-end “bots” and traveling from one seamy underground boxing venue to the next for whatever prizefight he can wrangle for his automatons. Just when things can’t become any more desperate and complicated, his estranged 10-year-old son Max (Dakota Goyo) suddenly and unwillingly comes back into his life.
I saw the preview already and I’m so excited! It will be shown in 3D and regular 2D and with Hugh Jackman in the movie I’m positive that its gonna be a blockbuster again! Gosh I love Hugh!
Well, here is the robot Hugh Jackman will be working on in the movie. He also learned some moves from the boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, FYI!

Hugh Jackman is the MANNN!!!! Whooohooo, any movie with him on it (BIG FAN), I’ll surely watch! Love this actor.
aww I can’t wait to see this movie. Really!! I love Hugh Jackman as well.. just saw its trailer and it does not give any reason to stop myself from seeing this film. I’ve read that Hugh’s son’s love of the Real Steel script helped seal the deal on him doing the movie. I think kids are the best motivator when it comes to getting things done, we might not take a second glance at it, but the kids laugh their heads off and have a good time. Good fun! I guess grownups should learn from kids too sometimes. should be a good movie for the family. can’t wait to see it!
