Non-makeup pros would sometimes confuse BB cream as foundation. But actually it is more than just foundation. BB creams is a short term for blemish balm cream which means its not just a foundation but is is made to concealing acne scars and mark the same time it heals them. Regular foundation does not have that effect.
When I found out that Avon created their own version of BB cream, I was excited to try it out and see what it can offer and how it compares to the other BB creams I’ve already tried.
Product Info
Avon Healthy Makeup BB Cream is infused with triple Vitamin Complex A,C, ED and natural extracts of Pomegranate, Olive Leaf, and Apple Root. It said it helps skin nourished and protected from environmental damage. Its lightweight, breathable and blends easily to conceal imperfections. It has SPF20/PA++ and is suitable for sensitive skin. Comes in two shades light and nude.
On my face
Half of my face was covered with the Avon Healthy Makeup BB Cream, half is not. Because I got the light shade of the cream it is very light compared to my natural skin tone.

I applied the BB cream on my entire face
Taken with a flash

Taken with natural light

What I think about it:
- Very fluid in texture.
- Provides light coverage.
- Very lightweight compared to other BB creams in the market that feels heavy and greasy on the face.
- If you want heavy coverage then use this as makeup base then apply your foundation.
- Doesn’t make the face greasy or oily. It gives skin a healthy glow.
- I was given a light shade so it was two shades lighter than my skin tone. I think I will enjoy the Nude shade better since I am morena.
- An OK price for Php399.00 per 18gram tube, I think I’ll empty contents in a month.
Do I recommend this product?
If you are a fan of BB creams but hate the heavy feeling while wearing them, then this Avon Healthy Makeup BB Cream is for you. If you have fair skin use the light shade if you are morena I recommend the nude shade. The nude would actually work best as a makeup base for those who would like heavier coverage. But if you want to go out with a natural looking skin that glows then this one is for you.
How about you have you tried the Avon BB cream yet? What do you think?
Stay gorgeous everyone!
