1. I will celebrate the Holidays in style by incorporating the Filipino tradition in my attire – conservative yet feminine, simple but elegant.

This ensemble uses merry colors, a reflection of my state of mind for the holidays. The result- a glam and fab attire without calling too much attention on the wearer, safe enough to be worn for the Misa De Gallo.

The result – a simple, yet elegant outfit, fit for partying and welcoming 2012.

   Now, only the shoes are lacking! Hmmm, red strappy heels with silver studs will be the best for both of my outfits.

Growing up, the holidays was a very awesome time for me and my siblings as this is when mom would take us out to shop for “special” clothes, for parties and get-togethers (which is why traffic is horrendous during the holidays. Imagine lots of people like us who seldom go out, suddenly let loose on the metropolis.). Now I’m using this tradition of buying special clothes as an excuse to add pieces to my wardrobe. 🙂 The holidays is also the best time work jackets, metallic and deep-colored outfits.

   As for making the above tube dress work for me:
   for day wear, i think i’ll don it underneath this red top with cape-like sleeves (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150445989216815&set=a.10150440987276815.416364.43823431814&type=3&theater), as a skirt. To celebrate the holidays in style we must first celebrate our god given beauty and be thankful for all the blessings that came our way,that way our beauty radiates from within thus giving any outfit more “oomph”.!And being fashionable must not be that expensive,a black little dress such as the one shown above is a good investment since this style can be worn in any occasion,u just learn how to accesorize properly and this dress will surely had long way to go.

   To make this outfit work for me,I will pair this with the black kitten heels shoes from the collection,the black ring and the necklace will add drama to this outfit,and of course I’l mimic the models makeup so that I can be as glamorous as the model…especially the red ruby lipstick..:)
