I’m not fair skinned but I have to boast of my even-toned skin even if I’m morena.  I have to give credit to all the scrubs I use once in a while.  It really does shed off dead and dry skin and reveals a fairly soft and even-toned one.  I’ve been using a Lulur Scrub from Indonesia for weeks now.  When I was sent the Asian Secrets to review there was completely no difference at all with the packaging, texture and ingredients like the one I got from Indonesia.   Well, what do you know, I shouldn’t be surprised,  because I was told the secret, because the entire Asian Secrets product line is committed to making and bringing in products rooted in effective Asian traditions and skin rituals. Asian Secrets made these traditions & rituals more accessible to the Filipina woman.

Asian Secrets products has two types of product the Lulur Whitening Body Scrub and the Bengkoang Soap.

Product Info:

The Asian Secrets Lulur Whitening Scrup promises immediate whitening because the Lulur beads remove dark/dull skin and immediately reveal whiter skin underneath. The Licorice and Mulberry Leaf Extract, Seaweed Extract & Vitamin E help further whiten skin, protect it and keep it healthy. Frequent usage reduces skin pigmentation and even s out skin tone by getting rid of dark patches, especially in areas prone to darkening such as the elbows, knees, armpits and the areas between the thighs.

The Asian Secrets Bengkoang (Yam Bean Extract) is a widely popular whitening ingredient in Indonesia that can be found in the islands of Sumatra and Java. The soaps contain Bengkoang, as well as Betel extract that gives extra protection from germ-causing body odor and Olive oil that moisturizes skin and protects it from dryness.

All of the products are clinically proven effective and our products are dermatologically tested . Asian Secrets products are safe – they are hypo-allergenic and do not contain harmful whitening chemicals

What I think about Asian Secrets
About the Lulur Whitening Scrub:

• The scrub effectively exfoliates the skin as it removes dead and dry skin revealing a smoother and even-toned one. You can definitely feel the Lulur microbeads as you use the product. The great thing about this one is it doesn’t scratch your skin compared to other micro-beads scrubs I’ve tried before. It is safe for daily use too. Just make sure to rinse well as the Lulur beads don’t melt on its own! You also need to follow on lotion as it tends to make the skin dry.

About the Bengkoang Soap:

• Its a perfect combination to the scrub, it cleanses and smells good. Effect depends n the variant you use. I like the moisturizing one as my skin tends to get overly dry. With the moisturizing soap I actually don’t need to use lotion after as it has moisturizing effect unless I use the scrub which is a bit drying to the skin.
