FOTD: Doll Eyes

I saw this Facebook contest by Lancome Philippines the other day and its about making your own version of the Doll Eyes look.  I joined the contest and made the look as soon as I woke this morning!   I think I did a good job.  Thanks to all the makeup lessons and seminars I’ve attended with Shu Uemura, The Body Shop and MakeUp Designory and all the practice I do to myself, my mom and my sister, mwahahaha!

Doll Eyes look is a makeup effect to make your eyes bigger than they are.  Here is my before and after look, the one I submitted to Lancome  Philippines contest:

How I did it?

Start with a fresh clean and even-out face using Foundation or Pressed Powder so as to have a nice clean canvass to start with your makeup
I used The Body Shop Four-Step Smokey Eye in Silver Black palette ,  black liquid eyeliner and Maybelline Volume Express Hello Kitty Hypercurl Cat-Eyes black mascara to achieve this look using the triangle technique (focusing on more and darker colors on the outer corners of the eye and creating a triangle shape).

Can you notice the difference already? Left eye looks bigger than the right eye already.

I finished the look with a blush Revlon Matte Powder Blush in blushing berry and lipstick L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Nutri-Shine Lipstick in Rose Guava
