Mid-Week Getaway At Pico De Loro Hamilo Coast, Nasugbu, Batangas

I lived in the city all my life. Because of that I wanted a place where there’s abundance of lush greens, deep blues and fresh air. When we spent an overnight mid-week getaway at Pico de Loro at Hamilo Coast in Nasugbu Batangas, I know now where I want to retire. I am so in love with the place. I can see myself growing old in there and I can see my daughter enjoying the nice scenery and beautiful environment. Living there would be like living in paradise. The place has beautiful landscape, an amazing view of the South China sea, surrounding lush green mountain view, salt water man-made lagoon , swimming pool, sports complex and everything you wanted in a residential community.

Pico Sand Hotel:

I know I sounded like a marketing officer who’s hard selling but I’m not. Take a look at the lovely  room we spent the night in at the Pico Sands Hotel and the lovely view you wake-up to each and every single day you are there.

Pico Sands Beach Club:

After settling in our hotel room. We went to Arribada Lounge at Pico Sands Beach where the launch and spa party for Orly Feel The Vibe was held.   Our trip to Pico de Loro cove  was meant for the spa party event by Sprint Asia Beauty for Orly.  Going around Pico de Loro cove is just a call away.  Shuttle service is on-call anytime and that is what we used to go the beach area which is approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel.

The Arribada Lounge is huge! I love the interiors, walls are made of some sort of shells and has a lot of natural lighting!  It is located at the second floor of this lovely structure:

The chapel is a nice place to get married ! In fact this is where the grandson of the developer of Pico de Loro got married. The chapel was built mainly for him whom did not have a place to have his marriage ceremony held. Bongga!

Pico de Loro Country Club:

After that we went to Pico de Loro Country club where all amenities for entertainment, sports activities and fun for the family can be found. They have game rooms, basketball court, tennis court, bar and lounge, billiards, kids play house, gym, and everything you can think off!

Dinner
I didn’t took much pix of the dinner because honestly I was disappointed the food were served really cold and really late! The only redeeming factor for dinner was the yummy Banana Cake. I didn’t know what was the reason behind serving the food cold and late I hope this incident only happened that time.

Breakfast
Was good. Everything was served hot. Bacon was crispy and I loved the Tortang Talong with that nice tomato thingy! Egg was good and longanisa was ok!

Drinks at Arribada!
Mojito was so strong but the food was great! Too bad I forgot to take pics I was overwhelmed by the beautiful scenery and the pampering session!

How to get to Pico de Loro Cove:
From SM Mall of asia by land it will take about 3 hours. If by ferry ride it will take about 1 1/2 hours. By air (chopper) it will take about 20 minutes. I heard a national highway is already being constructed that will traverse Ternate Cavite going to Nasugbu Batangas, once this road is completed then land travel will be reduced to 1 1/2 hour only!

Other info about Pico de Loro:

  • Pico de Loro cove is just one of the properties at Hamilo Coast, one of SM Land’s premiere coastal development.  There are a total of 13 coves in all.   Having been located at Nasugbu, Batangas, Pico de Loro is fortunate to be a part of the Verde Island passage in the Philippines and of the global Coral Triangle. Pico de Loro Cove is a 37.5 hectare coastal community with low-impact condominium buildings an exclusive beach and country club and Pico Sand Hotel.
  • The residential community are composed of eight mid-rise buildings up to 8 floors and are divided into cluster.  Each cluster has 2 buildings.  Average sizes of condo units are 1 bedroom (40-46 sqm), 2 bedroom (91-94 sqm) and 3 bedroom suites (134-143 sqm).  Condo unit prize range from Php3.5 milion and up!
  • To be able to check-in the hotel a family member or a friend must be a member as this is exclusive for members and residents only!   If you want to buy membership at Pico de Loro you have to pay at least Php550,000 that includes shares.  Owning a condo unit does not entitle you for free membership though!

If you have the money I highly recommend you get a unit here at Pico de Loro Cove. It is worth it and looking at their plan for the residential community it won’t get overcrowded and set to certain number only so its perfect retirement place for your family.

  4. Hi, Earth!

Thanks for blogging about Pico de Loro! 🙂

Sorry about the lunch being served late and cold. It does not normally happen. It was just that we were behind on our scheduled itinerary so they might have cooked the food an hour before the group arrived. But definitely no excuses. Sorry about that!

Noted also on the too strong mojito. Will be sure to tell the Chefs.

Hopefully, you will enjoy the food and drinks more when you come back.

Thanks again and see you soon!
