Most of my fashion blogger friends are not shy to admit that most of their favorite pieces came.from a trifted store.or popularly known as Ukay-Ukay. Some would also bluntly admit they got the clothes they wore.from their parents closets. Why not! I’m sure the genuine retro and vintage pieces your mom and dad owned were now hidden from view and stashed into boxes somewhere in their closet.
I raided my Papa and Mama’s closet recently and found amazing clothes in goid condition. The best thing about decades old clothes is that they used high quality fabric that never fade, stretch or shrink.
Here’s some retro and vintage printed longsleeves my father used to wore when.he was still with us, I’m glad we decided to keep some of his clothes!

This retro print longsleeve in particular would be nice to pair with a neon green shorts or neon shoes, or white shorts, or even jeans, stand alone or button down with an inner top.

While this one will look good on a black skirt or pants with or without an inner button down or stand alone. This one is kinda sheer so its very in trend this days. I can also pair this with a purple platform or flat shoes.

This one is my super favorite amobg the three longsleeves I got from Papa’s closet. The fabric is kinda silky soft and.the print is beautiful, florals and polkadots arranged in a unique manner. Color is very vintage as well and will match any kinda bottom and shoes!

My Mama’s closet is also full of lovely fashion finds. My mom likes to wear the “peasant look” so she hoarded a lot of florals and long skirts.

Long huge floral pencil cut skirt

Floral long skirts

And some longsleeves I plan to use as coverups and cardigan.

So, what do you think with my haul?
How about you, have you tried.digging-in your parents closet for authentic retro and.vintage fashion finds? I suggest you do it now if you haven’t you just don’t know what treassures you will find in there. After all, vintage is not just a trend but it’s timeless.
Stay gorgeous everyone!

I wonder where my parents kept theirs… I do not see any vintage clothes in our house…
