Mrs. Melita Barriga a.k.a. Momsky and Mr. Edgar Barriga a.k.a. Popsky, parents of our Philippine representative for boxing at the 2012 London Olympics Mark Antony Barriga was flown to London by Procter and Gamble last week to witness their soncompete in the Olympic Games and hopefully bring home the Olympic Gold Medal. So far, there are only four Philippine Olympians left there to represent us and we are all hoping for Barriga’s win despite a controversial start on his first win. This is the first time the parents will be able to watch their son live during a competition and P&G made it possible for them.
Flying them to London is only a part of the gift of P&G to thank Momsky for supporting Mark in his dream of being an Olympian from the beginning. This is the first out of country trip of Momsky and Popsky and I am sure they are all so excited about seeing a different country and see their son go for the gold.
