OOTD: The Roaring 1920’s

Looking at the 1920’s from my point of view,  I would say women dress very elegantly during those time than our time.    They look all so pretty dresesed-up to the nines and dance the night away.  But little did we know that the flapper dresses (low-waisted dresses with full hemlines) and bobbed hair cut  was actually a form of women’s rebellion and the influence of the women’s right movement in the 1920’s.

No wonder I have such a desire to have an event with a 1920’s theme.  I am a rebel at heart and I like to veer away from the norm.  I guess someone have heard me and so we got to dress-up like the Mob Boss lady!

This outfit was effortless to begin with, I did not have to buy anything new. I wore the dress more than a year ago with the belt up to my waist. The shoes I wore more than a year ago also at a Nuetrogena event and the chain was actually a hipster belt!
