When I first heard of CC creams, I had two things in my mind: 1) Oh! beauty companies are doing the beauty alphabet and 2) Oh! something new to try out soon!
CC cream stands for Color Correcting cream which honestly is something I will prefer more than the BB creams . BB Creams are too light for my skin tone and the texture is too heavy for my liking. I don’t have a lot of acne to worry about anyway and I only break out if I’m nearing my period or if I tried a new product that doesn’t go well with me.
- More and better coverage because of it’s color correcting factor. Some said you can use it as a makeup base just before your foundation, it will create a more flawless look.
- Lighter and softer than a BB cream, kinda close to the consistency of a mousse, which means it is easier to blend!
- Compared to BB creams that only got a universal shade option, CC creams have more color options which means not just white and will blend in different skin tone!
- It offers the best skin care benefits: targets hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and blotchiness, and claims long-term spot-diminishing benefits!
- CC creams are packed with antioxidants like white tea and green tea, Hyaluronic Acid, Mineral Powder, Macadamia Extracts, Deep Sea Water, Aloe leaf Extracts, and Natural Vitamin E. So it basically provides sun protection, hydration, agents to help soothe and calm skin, anti-aging elements, plus a long lasting formula.
I know I sound so enthusiastic about the CC creams I wish I could find the iFiona brand because I love the packaging the most (because of the cute cat image on it! as seen in the above image far right!). Other brands that are making noise is of course Chanel, Olay and Rachel-K. I want to know if the Korean brands here in the Philippines have them now as I heard the same companies who created BB’s made the CC’s .
With the CC creams up, might as well speculate for the DD cream to follow and yes wait for the EE cream which stands for Earthlingorgeous Effect or effervescent effect ! Hahaha! (I just made this one up!)
How about you, have you seen a CC cream already? Have you tried it? How was it for you?
Stay gorgeous everyone!
