As promised here’s part 2 of the my Makeup Looks From Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 Runway, this time, I am featuring the looks as seen on the shows of Ezra Santos and Albert Andrada.
Look #3: from Ezra Santos show
Highlights: Reminiscent of Antoni Gaudi’s architecture in its fine beading and subtle graduation from champagne to gray and black. Ezra Santo’s collection called for fresh color alternatives for the face, a beauty look that’s fit for spring.
“With seamless blending and contrasting colors look fresh and not at all contrived!”
How to do it:
Face: Apply Lucent Magique BB Cream to prep the skin and top it off with the True Match Super-Blendable Foundation. Hide trouble spots by blending in some True Match Super-Blendable Concealer
Cheeks: Apply the True Match Blush Delice in Rosy Cheeks on the apples of the cheeks for a subtle flush
Lips: For a youthful contrast to the eyes, color the lips with the balm-like Miss Candy Nutri Shine Lipstick in Miss Orange
Eyes: With the Open Eyes Pro in Turquoise, apply cobalt blue shadow on the lids with round brush strokes. To create depth, apply a darker blue on the creases, blending it well. Highlight the brow bone with a platinum-hued shadow and line the lower lashes with a white eyeliner. For the upper lash line, use Super Liner in Black Lacquer.
Look #4: from Albert Andrada show
Highlights: The delicate pastels, whites, and beiges of Albert Andrada’s latest creations were inspired by the Monet painting “Morning at Etretat”, further complemented by the designer’ use of Cantilly, lace, silk, tulle and chiffon.
“It’s the spring/summer look at its most classic: peaches and pinks on luminous skin!”
How to do it:
Face: For youthful, light-reflecting skin, use Luscent Magique BB Cream
Cheeks: Create a delicate and youthful flush by coloring the apples of the cheeks with True Match Blush Delice in Rosy Cheeks. Apply light blush on the temples as well.
Eyebrows: Groom the brows with clear mascara then thicken them a bit with Super Liner Brown Pencil
Lips: Create rosebud lips with Miss Candy Nutri Shine Lipstick in Miss Strawberry
Eyes: Apply Open Eyes Pro in Smokey Brown on the eyelids using round brush strokes, then line the eyelids with Super Liner Carbon Black. Coat the lashes with Double Extension Curl Mascara.
