NOTD: Creepy Gooey Slime

This will be my first attempt on a nail art post, I don’t really do nail art as I leave it to the experts in the nail salons.   But for today I tried to do my best into making something for Halloween.    The good thin about creating a Halloween nail or makeup look, imperfection is perfect (I have to justify myself for failing! LOL!) .  So albeit the lack of nail art tools — just my Revlon ColorStay LongWear nail polish, creativity and resourcefulness I was able to make a Creepy Slime Nails.

Yes it doesn’t really look much of a slime but the color and the texture reminded me of slime and goo.

How to do it:
I used the Revlon ColorStay LongWear Base Coat first then Sorbet and Bonsai shade. I alternated the Sorbet (orange) and Bonsai (green) on my fingernails and then applied the slime/goo effect. Since it’s slime it doesn’t have to be perfect and the same with all the fingers.

My nail art actually makes me feel ewww because of the color combination, slimey and gooey. Which is the effect I’m looking for for my Halloween nail art look! This green snakeskin clutch is perfect as background. It gives the feel of a snake spitting goo or something! Yuck! Hahaha!
