Yabu House of Katsu opened their 3rd branch in the country last November 27, 2012 at SM Mall of Asia and I was there with my favorite bloggers friends to witness the event and have the first dibs on what’s new and hot. The opening was also the launch of new dishes in their menu and their new and improved website that encourages everyone to socialize with other Katsu lovers.
Albeit being the smallest of all the 3 branches, the SM MOA Yabu House of Katsu branch still have that cozy interiors and the same huge servings and delightfully delicious Katsu dishes. The new dishes includes the following:
Soft Shell Crab Katsu Set
Menchi with Cheese Katsu Set
Menchi with Cheese Katsu Curry
They may look the same because of the signature Katsu make but they taste different. I love the new Menchi with Cheese with or without the curry. The cheese in the middle of the Menchi (minced beef) made a lot of difference. It’s like burger patty with cheese or cordon bleu. Ok, talking about it got me hungry I can’t wait to get another serving of the Menchi with Curry!
