Yesterday, SM Department Store finally decided to formally launch the SM Babies line to give it its own identity and focus on a complete line of apparel that caters specifically to children up to two (2) years of age.
The SM Babies launch was celebrated by a Special Moments photo exhibit at the Manila Peninsula Conservatory. The exhibit features photos by Pilar Tuazon and 14 lovely society moms with their little bundles of joy.
The moms who participated in the exhibit include Anti Eigenmann, Delamar Aris, Nicole Hernndez-De Los Angeles, Marta Araneta, Isabel Olondriz-Murd, Maia Maritez-Hing, Grace Barbers-Baja, Emilie Motenegro-Yupangco, Rose Montenegro-Boonpongsa, Georgia Schulze-del Rosario, Tin Dychiao, Angela Yeo, Rosanna Ocampo-Rodriguez and Juana Manahan-Yupangco. Special Moments is composed of four different categories that highlights the bond between mother and child – bedtime, playtime, baptismal and party time!

It was great to see lovely fashion-mommy-blogger friends at the event after the long holiday break! With Jen of ShopgirlJen, Ava of ArtsyFartsyAva, Krissy (not a mommy yet but fashionista!) of Krissyfied, Sarah of Fashion Eggplant, Me and Tasha (my daughter) now 11 years old! Woot!
Just a little trivia, even before this formal launch, I was one of those moms who already shopped for her daughter’s Special Moments at the SM Kids section of SM Department Store. Almost all the piece of clothing my daughter wore when she was born, her booties, onesies, pull-overs, her baptismal gown, to her 1st birthday costume all came from the store who “got it all for us!”. Here’s a proof 🙂
