Facial Masks Face-Off: The Saem vs Missha

Facial masks in Korea are sold cheap and in bulk because they are very much into vanity. When my sister went there this month for a work related trip I she also went into a Korean beauty product shopping haul as I requested her to do so. Included in her beauty haul were a lot of facial masks as she were sales talked into getting them haha!

The first one I tried was the Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask and I love it. So without hesitation I decided to do a Korean facial mask face-off trial and review of the other two facial mask my sister bought, The Saem Natural Aloe Mask Sheet and Missha Near Skin Total Repairing Hydro-Gel Mask.

Product Info
The Saem Natural Aloe Mask Sheet – contains aloe vera extract, which has an excellent moisturizing function. It soothes irritated skin and moisturizes it as well.
Missha Near Skin Total Repairing Hydro-Gel Mask – It’s moisturizing, firming and wrinkle repairing mask in one. Water-soluble mask to melt essence at 36.5C.

Facial Mask Face Off Missha vs The Saem
How to use:
Before putting the mask on,it is highly recommend to cleanse face first with a facial wash then use toner and then apply the masks.

Facial Mask Face Off
What I think of them:

  • The Saem has a tissue like texture and a full masks while Missha has a gel-like texture and is divided in two for the upper and lower part of the face.
  • Both are generously soaked with the essences to make skin soft and smooth.
  • Both has soothing effect and both works well with softening the skin.
  • No need to rinse off after removing the mask, just leave the essence on tap a little and spread and let it dry.
  • The masks are very addicting! Although it is only recommended to use once a week, I feel like using it everyday as it is so relaxing, especially when I’m not feeling really good lately it helps melt away stress.

Do I recommend The Saem and Missha Facial Masks?
Absolutely, pick one or both you won’t regret. Both works dynamically as the other is for anti-wrinkle and the other is for anti-acne and soothing.

How about you, what facial mask do you like to use?

Stay gorgeous everyone!
