I must admit, I love CC Cream better than BB creams. In truth I didn’t like BB creams that much because they were bias to whiter skin tones which I am not. I was so happy with the first CC Cream I reviewed and posted earlier, that I decided to post the 2nd CC cream review right away. In my hands is Holika Holika Face 2 Change CC Cream Color Control Cream #01.
It naturally corrects and evens skin while providing it with several skin improving properties. This CC Cream protets against both UV A and B rays with SPF32 PA++, improves the appearance of wrinkles,moisturies, covers imperfections with micro-capsules, and uses niacinamide to even skin tone and brighten it. Plus it comes in two shades to match your undertones, coo; (01) and warm (2).

- I love the scent it is very relaxing and soothing.
- I tried the #01 shade which is for cool undertones I love it as it brightened my skin tone but it did not leave that white mask / ghostly effect.
- My skin feels supple with this cream on.
- It’s non-greasy and it doesn’t stay on lines or creases. Doesn’t cake or flake.
- It doesn’t feel heavy or sticky in fact it feels a bit cool and calming.
- Compared to the Etude House CC Cream #01 which has a satin finish, this leaves a bit shimmer and glow finish. If you don’t like shimmer effect you can top with finishing powder with matte finish.
Do I recommend the Holika Holika Face 2 Change CC Cream?
An absolute yes. Surprisingly,even if I used the #01 shade for cool undertones, I didn’t look too ghostly white with this on compared to BB creams that makes everything white! This is the 2nd CC Cream I have reviewed. I will have to try the #02 for warm undertones too and maybe it will look more better than now. I can’t wait to get the full size.

Thanks for the review. I haven’t tried any CC cream, I’ve got a lot of BB creams and I’m not please to any of them. They leave my face ghostly white, maybe it’s not for us morenas.
I was able to drop by Etude House in Robinsons Manila yesterday. I saw and tried their CC cream (Silky) on my hand and was surprised it changed and matched my skin color. I wanna try it but had second thoughts as I find it a bit pricey. I hope they’ll have them in smaller sizes.
