Etude House CC Cream Correct & Care Cream #01 Silky Review

When I announced October last year about the CC Creams, I didn’t really went in the hunt to find and use one right away.  See,my frugal side always win.  I don’t spend on what I want plus I still have tons of cosmetics in my stash I haven’t touched yet and going on a buying spree just to be the first to try it out is not practical. Anyway, I was invited by a Korean brand for the CC Cream launch but was not able to attend they said they will send but haven’t received until now (the usual story).  Glad that my sister went to Korea and went on a Korean beauty haul with the Etude House CC Cream Correct & Care Cream in her shopping list (as I requested!)

I know some are still not over the BB Creams, plus the fact that new ones are getting really good!  Then there’s the DD creams coming in sooner than we thought.   And yet, here I am with my first CC Cream review (I have 3 brands in my stash right now!)  I have heard so many good reviews about Etude House so this gets the first CC Cream review!

What I think of it?

  • First the packaging,I love that it comes in tube form but it comes in a squeeze top.
  • I love that it comes in two shades/finish.
  • I love the silky satin finish, it doesn’t make my skin feel dry.
  • It gets absorbed by the skin fast but it doesn’t cake or settle on lines.
  • I love how easily it glides on the skin.
  • I love how it corrects the skin tone and in my case lighten it a bit without making me look ghostly or making it appear fake.
  • It looks like second skin, it feels like second skin.
  • You can never go too thick with the application as it looks like it corrects itself once on your skin. Unlike BB creams once you put on too much it will really appear very thick and fake.
  • I love it!

Do I recommend the Etude House CC Cream?
Definitely. I will have to try the glow variant to see which one is better. But so far the silky #01 variant is good. It doesn’t make me look ghostly white, it doesn’t feel heavy on my face. It makes my skin look soft and smooth and makeup sits on it really well. The cream doesn’t settle on lines and wrinkles and it doesn’t cake. So it’s great to have!

How about you? Which CC Cream brand have you tried so far? Did you like it?

Stay gorgeous everyone!
