It is said that all Bonifacio Global City needs to make the city the new financial center of the country is for it to have establishments that can cater to both short and long staying travellers. True enough, Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig is a growing financial hub that rivals Ayala CBD in Makati and Ortigas Center in Pasig. From becoming a home to numerous multinational companies, to concept restaurants and bars, luxury’ retail stores, international schools, and an internationally accrediled medical facility—BGC has finally embraced cosmopolitan living.
Yesterday, I was one of those invited to have a sneak preview of the newly opened Ascott Bonifacio Global City, the first international serviced residence in BGC.
Showcasing to us how Ascott BGC is an expat or travelers Home Away From Home we were shown the studio-type and one-bedroom unit. Hopefully by April 2015 their two-bedroom and three-bedroom units will be ready for occupancy!
With Ascott The Residence being named the Philippines’ Leading Serviced Apartment Brand for two years in a row by the World Travel Awards, the brand under The Ascot Limited has always been known for the bespoke global comforts it brings, giving travelling business executives a familiar home away from home.
Each serviced residence is elegantly furnished and equipped with modem conveniences such as a home entertainment system, a fully functional kitchen, and a washer with dryer.
To relax and recharge, residents can enjoy a dip in the outdoor 25-meter lap pool and jacuzzi or a robust workout in the well-equipped gymm that overlooks the city.
In addition, Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila offers office suites, meeting rooms. function rooms, a boardroom and a ballroom that will be fully operational by December 7, 2014!
More than just a place to stay, Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila also makes sure that the residents’ stay in the Philippines is as comfortable as possible through the Ascon Host Program. This helps residents transition into living in the Philippines and quickly settle in the new city. The program includes activities such as neighborhood and city tours, a security orientation, special events for kids, and social gatherings to know the other residents in the property.
Aside from that Ascott partnered with Chef Margarita Forres to open her restaurant in the hotel, Alta Restaurant. Alta will serve Ascott BGC banquetsheld at the grand ballroom that has a capacity of 200-600 guests.
I was able to try the kind of dishes they will serve Alta like the Peranakan Cuisine lunch by Chef Malcolm Lee they served during the event yesterday.
I will show you more about the Peranakan lunch we had at Alta on my next post!
Meanwhile visit www.the-ascott.com for bookings and more information about Ascott serviced residence at BGC. Ascot BGC is located at the 28th St. near the Mini Cooper showroom.
