Hafa Adei! Make Guam Your Next Travel Destination

I have a lot of college friends who are now in Guam, while I haven’t been there yet, it is somewhere I would want to explore in the near future.  While Filipino visitors need a U.S. visa to Guam, the visa processing is more lenient now for those who want to travel to this closest U.S. destination in the country!

Yesterday, I was able to get acquainted with the Hafa Adai spirit through the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) as they briefly showcased Guam’s culture and exotic travel destinations that is something that will make travelers fall in love with their neo-island lifestyle.

Guam is Just three-and-a-half-hour  away from Manila and is currently accessible via Philippine Airlines and United Airlines.

Located at the West of the Pacific in the Mariana Island, Guam is the closest United States destination from the Philippines. Guam offers every Filipino traveler a unique yet familiar vacation destination with its exquisite showcase of culture coupled with exotic beaches, breath-taking scenery and world-class duty-free shopping.

Catch the Guam Visitors Bureau as they showcase the island at the 2015 PTAA Travel Tour Expo from February 13 to 15, 2015 at the SMX Convention Center. You can also book your summer vacation to Guam at special rates with the hundreds of participating travel agents.

Beyond the island’s array of activities and tourist spots. Guam also holds annual events, one of which is the Shop Guam Festival, which aims to further excite tourists with additional shopping discounts across the island, on top of Guam’s tax-free shopping perks. Sporting and Cultural events are also held annually such as the Guam International Marathon. Ko’ko’ Road Race, and the Guam Micronesia Island Fair.
