If you are the type who likes romance-comedy movies or just plainly like songs that are fresh, light, and original I think you will love this new new album and the artist behind it.
As I write this I am listening to The Hush Project a Romantic Debut Album of Brad Go, a Filipino-American songwriter I met a few days ago and I am very much delighted with the songs, sounds and lyrics in his album. It is very fresh and inspiring — “Nakakainlove!” The album has the vibe of a theme song of a romantic film kinda like 50 First Dates, Sleepless in Seattle, Mad Love and even maybe should have been used for The Thing Called Tadhana!
Released through MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines), The HUSH Project is a culmination of Brad’s trip around the world in search of the most compelling and unique real-life love stories.
The journey began in New York, where he met a girl on a rainy Wednesday evening of September 2012. Offering his umbrella to the rain-soaked stranger, Brad unwittingly set in motion a series of romantic events, both exhilarating and tragic, which lead to the creation of his blog, Have U Seen Her, and eventually The HUSH Project (Have U Seen Her). Kinda like How I Met Your Mother story plot!
Inspired by his own love story Brad came up with a crazy idea, travel the world, talk to people about love and their love stories and write stories about them. This Kickstarter campaign raised over $10,000 which gave him the opportunity to embark on his mission.
Brad went to Barcelona, Tokyo, Melbourne, Singapore, Palermo, Berlin, Manila and Paris and came up with eight (8) original compositions namely : “All Along,” “All I want You Now”, “It’s You”, “Follow Through”, “Firestarter”, “Feel This Way”, “Love is Love”, and “Time Machine”. You may also watch his trip documentation at youtube.com/bradgofilm.
