#EOTD: Ombre Waterline & Double Wings/ Cat Eye Look + New Ways to Wear Your Eyeliner

While the classic eyeliner look is tried and tested, so is the fierce cat-eyes and winged tip look, from time to time we get bored with it and want to try something different.

The beauty of wearing eye makeup is that it is the part of our makeup routine that we can get really creative with. Just a few days ago, I got a bit creative with my eyeliner and combined two new ways to wear my eyeliner: The Ombre Waterline and the Double Wings/ Cat Eye Look.

Ombre Waterline and Double Wings/ Cat Eye Look

How to do it:
First do the Double Wings/Cat Eyes Look. Trace half of top of your eyelids closest to the lashes using a black liquid eyeliner. Using scotch tape or credit card place it at the tip of the outer corners of your eyes to create the wings or the cat eye edge placing the second tip a few centimeters apart the first wings/cat eye tip. Line half of top of the lids close to the lashes up to the inner corners of the eyes with eyeliner.

Next do the Ombre Waterline: Trace half (inner corner) of the lower waterline close to the lashes with white or cream eyeliner. Blink a few to blend the color. Trace the other half (outer corner) of the lower waterline close to the lashes with Teal or Blue Eyeliner (any other striking color you like to wear can also work) then blink a few times to blend the colors.
Apply mascara to finish the look!

Now here are other creative new ways to wear your eyeliner as complied by stylist Rachel Zoe on her Zoe Report.

The MASCARA LINER POWER COUPLE

The FLOATING CAT EYES

I tried doing this one but it won’t work because I have deep set eyes or maybe I was doing it wrong. I will try again and show you all when I get successful. This simple yet fierce eyeliner look is done by tracing your crease line with eyeliner instead of lining close to the lashes and then extending the edge for the cat eye effect.

The Eyeliner without the line

Instead of a line you put a dot under your waterline and use nude or white eyeliner on the waterline.

So, what do you think of the new ways to wear your eyeliner, which look do you think you will try soon? Let me know! I would love to see how you pulled it off!

Stay gorgeous everyone!
