Dress Up Your Eyes In An Instant

When one is born with black to darkest brown eyes, having colored eyes is something to desire. Thank goodness for colored contact lenses, it is now easier to dress up your eyes in an instant. However, not all Filipino women are “brave” enough to try contact lenses because of unfounded fears.

“Will it hurt?”

Funny but yeah those are the common fears. I had those too.

When we got to the venue of the AirnOptix Colors Breathable launch we were ushered to the eye station to pick a color we want to try! Ohhhhh! Exciting!

This is my first to try on a colored contact lense. I tried it last year using a disposable dailies in brown just to be onnthe safe side. When I saw they had other colors available at the event Insaid why not go for something shocking! So, I asked to wear the Air Optix Brilliant Blue contact lense, an eye care professional from Alcon Vision Care is there to assist first timers to put the lenses on.

It was great to see how everyone was happy with the lenses they put on. We noticed that most wore a color that matches their eyes. We all had fun on the camera posing with our new eyes as we are all surprised by how comfortable and easy it was on the eyes like we are not wearing one at all! You can easily forget you are wearing contacts!

It took awhile than normal to put them on me as my eue was kinda twitchy at the sight of the fingers getting close to my pupils. As soon as the lenses touch my eyes I blink. But the eye care professional was patient and skilled I did not shed a tear or got hurt in the process. It was the reflex of blinking when something gets too close around the eye area.
