I never admit that I am a geek but attending the three day Asia Pop Comicon 2018 in easy cosplay outfit made me realize maybe I really am. Not everyone , especially members of the media went in costume everyday for three daya, but I did. It is fun to go out wearing costumes of characters you see on TV or film without anyone giving you that judgememtal look and express your fandom. The fulfilling part is the appreciation you get fom the people who see you in cosplay and actually recognizes the character you are trying to portray. Best reward is when some would even ask to take a photo of you with them wearing your character.
I am of course speaking from my experience.
Day 1: Supergirl
People who know me already have identified me as Wonder Woman. But because I have changed my hair color to blonde, I have to find the second best blonde character to portray, of course the most obvious choice is Supergirl.
Luckily, my sister had a Supergirl sweater lying around, she bought it from Toycon but I haven’t seen her wear it.
Without the sweater on, I wore glasses just so I can still be in character as Kara Zor-el Supergirl’s alter-ego.
Day 2: Buffy the Vampire Slayer that became Jessica Jones too quickly !
Yeah, I went as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but I guess not too many in this generation already know her. Plus I dod not have a wooden steak with me as a giveaway, coz that’s a dangerous weapon unallowed at public transport and subject to confiscation.
From neck to waist though, people guessed me as Jessica Jones. But a takeaway would be my red pants, Jessica never wear red pants and her hair is brunette not blonde. Plus I don’t have a bottle of alcohol on my hamds. But I did have my camera hanging down my neck.
Even @asiapopcomicon thinks I am.

Day 3: Betty Cooper from Netflix Riverdale
The Pop’s iconic yellow shirt uniform Netflix gave away the second day of the Asia Pop Comicon became instantly my costume. I would have gone as Minnie Mouse or something else in black but somebody doesn’t like.Minnie and I don’t want to wear black again since I did alreay.
Marcus and I talked about our costume for the Asia Pop Comicon he made a lot of suggestions but I only went for something I can pick from my closet. I was Betty , he was supposedly to become Jughead, but since we don’t want to shave his beard, he became Fred Andrews (Luke Perry) Archie’s dad.
