A few weeks back I visited Made in Candy in Glorietta 4 to see how they made those handmade rock candies and tried making candies myself. I was taken by how hard it was to make them candies and what dedication and effort the candy makers do when making them, it definitely is a labor of love (that’s why they’re sweet!)

While candy making is hard, I enjoyed it a lot. It was an enriching experience to try out and see how something we take for granted was made and appreciate it more. (This is the reason handmade/ artisan/ custom made stuff are expensive than those manufactured in bulk and by machine)

You can create a design with a maximum of 6 Letters per Candy Design (in capital letters only). Symbols like (heart, @, #) are allowed but considered/equivalent to two(2) letters while (+, . ,) are also allowed and equivalent to one (1) letter. The color and flavor of the candy will be determined by the current batch that is being produced by their candy artisans. (Trust them coz they know which flavors work well together.
