I watched the movie yesterday at SM Fairview Cinema and they are implementing a very strict one screening show only. So they let all the people in the cinema to get out first before having the next batch in which is great.
The movie was rated PG-13 and there are intense sequences of action and violence, and some partial nudity that I don’t think anyone younger than 13 should watch. The movie runs for 1 hour and 47 minutes and every minute of it is worth it.
If you are a die-hard X-men fan, or used to watch the X-men cartoons in the past, or watched the X-men Trilogy this movie will give answers to some questions you have in mind about how the character came to be.
Of course this movie focuses on Wolverine’s past and so the focus of the story is him. Gambit, Cyclopes and Dr. Charles was introduced in the movie and it reminded me how I loved Wolverine and Gambits character that lead me to naming my cats after them. The introduction of the three X-men main character paved the way for the following X-Men Origins series and since the three were shown here I won’t be surprised if Gambit, Dr. Charles or Cyclopes will be the next in line.
The movie editing was beautifully made with some blunders that gave away where the movie was really shot, it was supposed to be set in Canada the Rockies and the its Northern territories, but there was an arrow during one of the action packed scenes that shows New Zealand! I think you will have to watch it twice or thrice before you see what I mean. Overall the movie editing, the costume, set, props and all are great!
I give this movie a thumbs up and I recommend it to all the X-men fans.

The special effects in this movie have elevated it to new heights, in my opinion. The entire length of this movie was captivating in that the action never ceased and it looked so real!
