Night At The Museum 2

Night at the Museum 2 (The Battle at the Smithsonian) is the second installation to the original action comedy movie and I was not disappointed at all.  I laughed most of the time during  the entire 1 hour 45 minutes of the movie.  The old characters were still there and the additional characters made this movie much fun.  In fact I think this one is better than the first movie!

If you are looking to laugh your stress away then I suggest you watch this one.  That is if you get the type of humor this movie offer.  This kind of movie is a subtle way to  get the young generations interest in History since most don’t know much at all.   Some would think the real people behind the characters were destroyed but I think that will get the kids to research about a certain character that interest them.

Besides it’s a fun comedy movie.  Don’t expect it to be super serious.  If they are looking for an adult documentary history movie then maybe they should go watch something else. Or maybe read the book.  This movie was made for fun.

Synopsis:

Larry Daly (Ben Stiler) , after years of leaving the Museum of Natural History, decided to visit the place he used to work for as a nigh guard. Only to find out that all the museum pieces will be shipped to the federal storage at the famous Washington Museum.   He was saddnened by this but couldn’t do a thing, he was already busy in his successful life as an entrepreneur.  By mistake, the tablet that gives life to all the museum characters was also shipped by mistake, thanks to the crazy monkey.   Larry was called to put things in order and this is where the adventure begins.

New characters to watch out for are Amelia Earhart, Al Capone, Kahmunrah (an evil Pharaoh), Napoleon Bonaparte, Czar Ivan the Terrible, The Thinker and the creator of Motorola and more!
