My Daughter’s First Movie

Last Saturday was my daughter’s first movie ever and yes you guess it right it was Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince that we watch at SM North EDSA IMAX theater.

I never take her to the movies prior to that because I was afraid she makes some unnecessary noises, annoying noises and will fuss too much because she hates dark places.    I was confident to take her to the cinema with me this time because I am with my family, my sister, my brother, my nephew, who knows my daughter very much and can help me in case she does something peculiar.

She was able to last a concert before, Ogie sings with the Idols with Ramielle Malubay.  The concert was more than two hours and she loves music so I didn’t hesitate to take her with me.

To my surprise and to theirs she sat patiently at her seat muching on her chips.  She was looking at the screen like understanding whatever they said.  She even clapped when funny and cool scenes unfold.   She stand up for a couple times wanting to touch the screen.  She also babbled a lot like discussing whatever she was seeing.  From my observation it looked like she enjoyed the movie.  She enjoyed it more than I did.  But since she enjoyed it then Harry Potter will make it to the books of her movies that we will watch again on the new TV I won from SM hehehe.

Another achievement for my daughter I’m so proud of. Now I can take her for a movie date. Yipeee!
