Therapeutic?

Personally, I’ve never consulted a Psychologist/Therapist before.  But I do have some friends who are Psychology graduates and that includes a blogger friend who is a Psychologist (Hi, Teacher Ria!).  I know a couple of therapist but they are not the kind of therapist who does personal consulting with an adult.  They are handling more of children with special needs.

But when it comes to adult, Dr. Phil is one of the popular Psychologist in the world today, thanks to Oprah, he now have his own show which I find very amusing.

Anyway, I saw another video from Red Chair Confessions and it it made me realize how time based their services are.  Does talking to them really is therapeutic?  Or they are trained to listen to your rants the whole one hour and say things we wanted to hear?

This video was kinda funny because instead of the therapist telling the patient that her time talking is up, it was the patient who did.  Although the therapist said she will still charge her an hours worth for that session alone.  This video is kinda similar to the previous confession video at a church its just that the setting was kinda different.

I am not so sure what she is talking about, she mentioned gays and something those gays were doing and she mentions something about it being therapeutic.  Dancing? Singing? Self gratification of some sort like shopping? Ahhhhhhh! Whatever she was saying could mean so many things.  Whoever made that video and the script is briliant, it keeps me intrigue.
