This will be a very quick and short post as I don’t have much to say but uhmmm…the sound effects was great, the script was kinda weak, editing was good, the action scenes were surprisingly eye-popping I almost left the theater because it was too much for me. Denzel Washington was great in the movie.
What is The Book Of Eli? Everyone knows it, everyone has seen it. I just hope and pray that that time won’t come that people will kill other human beings to possess it.
I wonder how much did the products featured in the movie paid. The product placement was really good, gave people some laughs because we are all familiar with them.
Movie Synopsis of The Book Of Eli:
Eli (Denzel Washington) has been on a journey for 30 years, walking west across America after a cataclysmic war that turned the earth into a total wasteland. The world has become a lawless civilization where people must kill or be killed. The barren roads belong to gangs of cutthroats who rob and kill for water, a pair of shoes, a lighter, or just for fun. Eli is a peaceful man who only acts in self defense, and becomes a warrior with unbelievable killing skills when he is challenged. After the war and the “Big Flash”, Eli was guided by a higher power to a hidden book and given the task of protecting the book and taking it to its final destination. Eli guards the book with his life, because he knows that the book is the only hope that humanity has for its future.

I haven’t watch a movie lately but the last film of Denzel Washington that I have seen was The Taking of Pelham 123. He’s with John Travolta. Would love to catch Denzel’s Book of Eli this weekend or how about a date with hubby on his bday? hehehe

It looks like that the movie is really a must to watch. It’s really interesting, I am looking forward to watch it in the comfort of our home.
I think I might watch this movie too. I like fictions like this ksi. Well, too bad I am in a province. I would have to end up watching in the DVD player all by myself.

Thanks for the review. This is probably another movie my FIL will like. I just hope though it would be easier for me to convince him to watch it in the big screen as I know, he will be able to appreciate the action scenes more.
