Hats off to Jericho Rosales for his awesome hosting and dancing skills that entertained and rocked Chowking Fort Bonifacio, Global City Taguig branch during Chowkings 25th Anniversary Blow-out! The event was very lively and fun because of him.
Jericho is now the new endorser of Chowking specifically for its Oh!Some Orange Chicken meal and “instructor” for the Oh!Some Chowking Orange Chicken Dance that they launched Wednesday, March 17, 2010 and will be seen in Showtime in the coming days.
This is in line with their campaign that comes alongside with the launch of the new meal, the Oh!some Oh!range dance moves reiterating that mapapasayaw ka (you will dance) when you get your hands oh! so juicy oh! so sweet and spicy, and oh! so orange-y savory morsels.
Everyone was in a party mood that night not only because of the OH! Some OH!range Chicken meal but because we were also celebrating Chowking’s 25th Anniversary Blow-out and the opening of their 400th branch in Baguio.
The night was indeed full of surprise. However there are rooms for improvement especially for the event organizer to take note of:
- I wished the venue was larger so it can fit all the bloggers, cosplayers and flash mobbers they want in one place.
- I wished the food was served hot and that they didn’t sprinkle confetti on top of everything.
- I wished the program was a bit more structured, serve the food first and have the guest eat the food while its hot since they are launching a new dish. People would appreciate the food more if it was hot.
- I wished somehow they understood what is a blog and what blogging is, specifically know what are the traits of a food blogger.
Oh! Chef Rosebud Benitez was there to open the program. Mr. Erwin Elechicon, Chowking President was there and did the Oh!range chicken dance too.

Naku, mukhang disaster ‘yung food dahil sa confetti. Sayang naman talaga, ‘di ba? And yes, mas masarap kapag mainit pa iserve.
Anyway, I watched Jericho’s launching of Chowking’s Orange Chicken in Showtime and the dance step was really great! My son loves to try the new dish from Chowking after watching the show.

yaiks! ba’t ganyan ang pagkaka-serve sa Orange Chicken? Pag sa store oozing with sauce yan, di mo makikita na breaded yung chicken.
in fairness ang gwapo ni echo!
