Valentine’s Date Suggestions

This weekend would be a Valentine weekend and I’m sure there are guys or even ladies out there planning a perfect/romantic/ unique way to celebrate their Valentines.

Here’s some suggestions where you can take your date this year:

Take your date to the 16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival at Clark Field in Pampangga, the festival begins on February 10 – February 13, 2011 and first balloon flight starts at sunrise somewhere between 6AM to 7AM.  On February 13, 2011 there will be an awesome balloon lighting around 7PM a part of their Valentine celebration.  This looks like a perfect venue to propose, have a picnic, and celebrate your love at the empty fields of Clark!

Tips to those going at the Hot Air Balloon Festival:

  • bring and wear sunblock
  • bring extra clothes as it tends to be dusty
  • bring folding chairs or mats to sit on
  • bring water
  • wear cap
  • bring a hand fan
  • wear closed shoes its dusty in the field

If you can’t travel out of town, take your loved one to Trinoma Mall in Quezon City because at 4PM exactly there will be a Helicopter Flower Drop and shower everyone at the 4th Level parking area with Rose Petals! How romantic!

Make Fireworks appear as you kiss your love! Take him/her to the 2nd Phillippine International Pyromusical Competition, Pyrolympics for short, at the SM Mall of Asia Seaside Boulevard.

Have a wet and wild Valentine at the Liquid Pool Lounge Bar and check-in one of the Aquarooms or Sea-side View rooms at the H2O Hotel.  Get a Hot Bed treatment at Zenyu Eco Spa and let the fish do the talking at the Fish Spa and Oceanarium all this can be found in one venue, the Manila Ocean Park in Quirino Grandstand, Luneta Park Manila.

Or if you think you can fly! Try Tandem Paraglidding at Carmona Ridge in Cavite , only every weekends.  Post comments here if you are interested!
