This won’t be as intensive as my skin care product reviews but will be short and sweet and my short lived road testing of the new Olay Total Effects as endorsed by Kris Aquino.
What I think about it:
- I used Olay Total Effects products including the Foaming Cleanser, Day Cream (normal) with SPF15 and Night Cream and well I immediately got breakouts on day 1. I thought the breakout will cease in day 3 or so so I continued until I reached day 7 and I wasn’t happy about it still.
- I was still getting breakouts until day 7 and my skin got so sticky and oily and I feel my pores are getting clogged.
- I didn’t feel my face getting any smoother or cleaner but it was getting worst. I was getting the worst breakout ever and the first pimple that break out on me is still here!
- So now I stopped using it and gave what’s left to my sister whose skin is reacting much better with Olay Total Effects.
- I will go back to my Neutrogena Fine Fairness Line because my skin was the best when I was using it. On the other hand my sister’s skin wasn’t reacting well with Neutrogena.

Noting how my sister and I’s skin reacted to different skin line, my skin was great with a product she was reacting very bad and vice versa. It really depends on your skin type. I was doing great with Neutrogena she was doing bad with it. I was doing bad with Olay she is doing great with it, she has been a user of Olay for many years now!
So the skin you saw I was in at Blogapalooza was my worst skin (wah) coz it was the last day I used Olay.

I never tried Olay because I am a long time user of Ponds. It looks oily. Oh, so naka-Olay ka pala sa picture mo with Hungarian Burger? Size matters talaga. LOLZ!
My skin is reacting well with Neutrogena (I’m only using their mild facial cleanser though) after using my facial cleanser from Human Nature. I usually get “itchy face” when I switch from organic to regular products kasi.
ang makeup, pampaganda lng yan.. meaning likas ka ng maganda 🙂 oha! 😀
I’m also an Olay user and I’m not having any breakouts on it. 🙂

I also experienced that in other products. There’s this one thing I used pero parang it doesnt work for me. Siguro may ibang products talaga na nagwowork lang for specific skin types 🙂
