I’m just gonna throw in some rant, I’m just disappointed with my online shopping lately.
I’ve been an online shopper for (Ebay, Multiply and Facebook Online Stores) awhile but as much as I love the variety of items being sold and that they are less cheaper compared to buying it in a mall or direct from a shop, I came to a conclusion that online shopping is not for me anymore.
Why?
- The wait time kills me. I’ve long gone tired looking at the picture of the item I purchased before it gets to me. By the time I get the item I am no longer excited about wearing/using it.
- The discrepancy in the items bought, albeit sometimes very little, is kinda disappointing.
- Its not actually cheaper if you include the waiting time and the shipping fee and other fees you have to pay.
- Its hard to get a replacement and if ever you get a replacement you will have to wait again. The wait time is such an agony.
- I’m getting uncomfortable sharing my contact details to local online sellers.
For an impulse buyer/shopper like me online shopping is something I will have to try to avoid from now on. I’d rather go traditional shopping where I can see, smell, feel and try on the items immediately on real time and not wait for a long time in agony and anticipation to get disappointed later on because of some minor or major discrepancies. It’s like asking for an rv repair but what you’ll get is an rv cleaning and tune-up only.

I don’t shop online for shoes coz’ I have a weird foot size and Korean clothing because it’s way different with pictures and actual items.
So sad naman Ms.E disappointed ka sa mga previous online transactions mo.
I haven’t tried online shopping even if the item is very tempting. I wait for my chance to hop in the mall.
hmm, i think we have the same sentiments sis.. hahaha.. spot shopping na lang tlga.. lalo na sa dresses, like thrice yata when I bought a dress and it didn’t suit me. Asar much lang! 🙁
I only online shop for books. Ang fear ko kasi, if a dress or shoes doesnt fit, ang hassle pa ireturn, sayang naman money ko. These days, puro deal sites lang ako nagsha-shop online. Mas mura kasi. 🙂
