Wong Kar Wai for Shu Uemura Holiday Collection 2011 Launch

Shu Uemura finally launched their Holiday Collection for 2011 featuring Wong Kar Wai last Friday night Opus last Friday night.  Wong Kar Wei is a celebrated film director from Japan known to his artsy short films.  In fact Wong Kar Wai made a short film “Mask” captivating his creative interpretation of  his makeup collaboration with Shu Uemura.  In fact the entire packaging of the holiday collection was designed by Wong Kar Wai himself.

To showcase the latest collection a mini makeup exhibition was held with Patrick Alcober playing with the Drowning in Flame palette and John Pagaduan playing with the Burning in Water palette.

Another makeup exhibition was held next part of the program with the rest of the Shu Eumura accredited makeup artist in the Philippines

The Wong Kar Wai Holiday Collection for Shu Uemura has eye and cheeks palette, false eyelashes, glittery mascara, lustrous glow powder, rouge unlimited lipsticks, mini nail duo (nail polish) brush set, White Recovery EX Advanced formula cleansing oil! Yes! It’s an entire makeup line!

I can’t wait to get my hands off the Wong Kar Wai makeup so I immediately swatch and swipe some of it on my lips yeah! Love it! Will show you on the next post!
