For the Chinese New Year, I decided to wear the Side Swept Buns / Side Swept Updo. The trendiest yet the most simplest yet classic look at the Golden Globe Awards this year.
How to make a side swept buns:
This hairdo is the easiest one to pull-off. All you need is an elastic hair band, some bobby pins and hairspray if you want the look to stay longer.
Step 1: Gather hair on one the side of your face. Choose the side where your part is and tie with an elastic band.
Step 2: Divide in two and make a braid on the other half. Braid the unbeaded part with the beaded part and tie ends with an elastic band
Step 3: Twist to make a bun and secure in place with bobby pins. Hairspray is an option.
Tada!
Simple, sexy and classic! Everyone can wear this hairdo.
