This March 23, 2012, the Philippines will witness the biggest concert that will showcase the best of the best of the Filipino artist and bands in the country, the Coke Concert ng Bayan. The Concert ng Bayan is one of the three projects of the President for Happiness Caloy came up with to bring happiness to everyone in lieu with Coca-Cola’s 100th year anniversary. The other two projects were the Free Coke Day and the latest is the Pasasalamat Para Kay Mommy Promo where one gets a chance to win prizes by simply texting the codes you can find under a Coke crown to a certain number ( see posters and print ads for details).
When I got a call that I will be one of the 3 VIPs for the Concert ng Bayan, I was ecstatic. VIP’s will not only get front seat to the concert, we also get the chance to visit the bands while they are doing their rehearsals and an all access to the concert itself, including the backstage! Woot!
After that call, I was given details to where the rehearsals be and who will be there. The first reheasal was held at Quezon City at KNR Studio and the bands to meet where ChicoSci and SpongeCola who will be doing a collaboration number at the concert.

Oh, yeah I went around the studio while they sing their hearts out, beat the drums and strum their guitars! Sounds good!
Again, the Concert ng Bayan will be on March 23, 2012 at the SM MOA Concert Grounds, it will feature many of your favorite local bands and Filipino artists like Parokya ni Edgar, Itchyworms, Callialily, Wolfgang, 6 Cycle Mind, Sarah Geronimo, Somedaydream, Gary Valenciano and a lot more!
