I was going out to attend a a fun and posh party 1st of October so I decided this will be the perfect time to use one of the Maybelline Holiday 2012 Collection, their New Eyes Studio LuminEyes Illuminating Shadow. I got the gray shade and it actually perfect for the look I was in the mood for that night.
LuminEyes Eyeshadow comes with the first-ever illuminating color-control primer. It creates dazzling party-perfect shades that last lobger, appear more even, and illuminate the eyes.

As per the instruction provided at the back of the packaging I applied A first all over my eyelids.
Then applied B on entire eyelid and inner corner using the bigger end of the brush/sponge applicator provided in the packaging
Applied C on the center of my eyelid using the other side of the sponge applicator I used as provided in the packaging
Using the smaller sponge side of the applicator, I blended D on the lower medium lid .
Using the opposite side of the smaller sponge applicator, I applied E near by the eyelash line
- What more can I say but to tell you how I love everything about this eyeshadow especially the color gray as I can do the smokey eye look without having to appear like I got punched on the face.
- I love the illuminating eye primer included in the palette as it does give the color more intense and long-lasting.
- Color pay-off is really nice as well if you can see with the swatches I did that was only one swipe using the applicator provided.
- I can’t wait to see how the other palette like Gold and Pink would look like on me!
Do I recommend this?
100%! It indeed is a perfect party makeup as it will surely last the night away unless you intentionally remove it. At Php599.00 per palette it is one of the Holiday 2012 makeup from Maybelline you should get!
How about you, have you tried this one already? How about the other shades?
Stay gorgeous everyone!
