When I was five to 10 years younger, I had no problem telling people my exact age. I don’t look as old as my age. In fact people would guess me as 8-10 years younger. When I reached this age, I find it a bit hart to tell everyone my exact age now, It is one my many realizations in life lately, that I am way too old and the cliche that don’t ask a lady her age is true.
Do I actually believe that? Yes. Because, age is just a number and mine is unlisted. Look at this OOTD pic and tell me how old do I look? (lolz)
Very true. People tell me not to tell everyone my age as I really don’t look like it. Except for the wrinkles here and there that can sometimes be a giveaway.
Incidentally, just before 7:30PM of February 11,2013 Manila time, I heard the news about Pope Benedict XVI resignation, the Papal Resignation he tendered which will be effective on February 28,2013. The reason he gave to leave the seat of Vatican is his old age and that he can no longer fulfill his Papal duties. My crazy imagination goes wild and thought that there is something fishy about this resignation, is the Pople even allowed to resign? Pope John Paul II stayed on the seat of Vatican even until the day he died. Pope Benedict XVI leaving because of old age is unacceptable. This was the 1st in after 600 years to happen! This got me thinking of the Angels and Demons especially the conclave that is about to happen just right after the Pope Benedict XVI leaves. Hmmmm…. Like what I said earlier, age is just a number! Maybe Pope Benedict XVI needs a better adviser someone like that of Douglas MaArthur who said “You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope, as old as your despair.”
