L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick Review

Red, Pink and Nude are my three favorite and basic lipstick shades .  I wear nude on daytime events or when doing errands, I use pink or red on a nighttime event or when I think my outfit is too plain and I need to add some oomph to my look.  So, when I got another super cool package from L’Oreal  with their latest lipstick inside I tried them on right away!   I was planning to buy a couple of these L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Lipstick because I’ve seen reviews and ads and I can’t stop but admire the beautiful highly pigmented lips I’ve seen wearing it,plus I love the pretty gold packaging too!

What I think of it?

• I super love the intense color it has. With just one swipe the highly pigmented lipstick shade shows off.
• I’m so impressed with how it made my super chappy lips moisturized in an instant. I love that it is not just a beautifying lipstick but a lipcare product as well. I can feel how it continuously keep on making my lips feel moisturized the longer I have the lipstick on, its amazing. With just a whole day wearing the Color Riche lipstick on my lips were not that dry anymore!  To give you an example, if you look at my photos above you can see me wearing the Fuzzy Taupe with my lips kinda chapped and cracked.   After removing that color and tried on another one, next was the Think Pink, my chapped is not that obvious anymore.   My lips looks really smooth and plump when I used the Viva Red after!
• The color stays true to what you see on the packaging, it doesn’t change color when you put it on unlike other lipstick.
• I love the fabulous packaging as well (lakas maka sosyal, according to the sales lady in Rustans’s, assisting me when I purchased a bag last week).
• Since its a nourishing and glossy lipstick, staying power is not that long. But its not a disadvantage really as you will enjoy swiping this lipstick as often as you could!

Tip:
To make the color last longer on your lips, dab a translucent powder on your lips. It will also give that matte effect.

Do I recommend it?
Absolute no doubt about it, this is one of the best lipstick product I have ever tried to date. Color is pure, moisturizing at its best. Your lips will be nourished, repaired and protected the longer you wear it. The high color and gloss factor also adds that wow effect on you when you are wearing it! So definitely get one or four shades from the three basic hues – pink, red, orange and beige.
