Travel Diary 2007 – 2011

If money was not an issue, what would you like to do more often?

Me, I want to travel.

Here’s a glimpse of my travel diary from 2007-2011 when unused to do a lot of solo travels and favorite places I’ve been during those time.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain

Travel travel pag may time.  I’m sure you’ve heard that cliche.  But I think everyone should travel not only because may time, make time for it.

If I was made to choose between a high end signature branded labeled handbag and a travel opportunity to a place I’ve never been before, I’d choose the later.   See material things have expiration dates,  but the memories and the experience you get when you travel last a lifetime.   Nobody can take it away from you, nobody can have the same experience as you do.   Nobody can buy it from a store at a price.

The many beautiful things, people,  learnings and discovery you find when you visit a new place is just empowering and enriching to the soul

You learn about history and culture and embrace it for awhile.

The first time I traveled out-of-the-country alone was one of my best travel experience ever.  That was in 2006 in Hongkong when that country was still Visa Free.

I was not a full-time blogger back then so I was not able to blog about that first time in Hongkong so let me just share a few pics from that trip

Since this Hongkong travel I’ve been traveling at least once a year alone anywhere, out-of-the-country or just out-of-town.

This 2013 was the best travelled year because most of my travel aside from my birthday and Holyweek trip was sponsored! I’m so blessed!

There’s just too many photos, too many memories, too many beautiful places I’ve been through the years. I’m glad camera was invented as I can always look back at the photos and rekindle the times.

Yes I am a mom, but I am also a woman at the same time.  Aside from taking care of what my child needs, I also take care of my own.  From time to time, having my alone time, time away from home fuels me.   It is refreshing and energizing because for awhile I took a break from my usual routine at home.

How about you, what’s your passion?

I want to hear or rather see what are you passionate about.  Take a photo of the things that you love and share it on Instagram and Twitter.  Don’t forget to tag me @earthlingorgeous !

Stay gorgeous everyone

  1. What a wonderful trip! I love to travel too and for our honeymoon we sailed thru the Mediterranean and made our way through Europe, it was a memorable experience and a trip of a lifetime that I will never forget.
