We lived in our permanent home for more than 20 years now. The place is our home but sometimes sentimental values does not count anymore if convenience is concerned. It always takes 2 hours to get to work or events I need to attend and another 2 hours more going home. It waste a lot of time and money.
So this summer, my sister and I decided to live in a summer home so as to make mom experience a different environment and slowly make her realize living near the place my sis and I work is more convenient for all of us.
Behold our summer home! The SMDC Light Residence just along EDSA Boni Avenue Mandaluyong City. I super love it here. So convenient and everything is just a few minutes away! It is great.
Here is how the one-bedroom unit looks like. At the moment the tower thatvwas turned-over has 1 bedroom units and rhe tower has 50 floors!
Each unit is fully furnished with provisions for a washing machine and water heater in the CR.
This is the view from our unit window
One of my favorite area in here is the pool area. It looks like you are in a posh resort or hotel or something. It is really nice.
The best part of all my daughter enjoys the pool a lot. We go there morning and before sunset so she can swim!
This is my favorite equipment in there!
The recieving area at the ground floor is nice. The lobby area at the 8th floor where the pool and changing rooms and function rooms are is nice too. The gym is on the 10th floor same as the mail area.
My family and I are loving it I amnpraying and wishing and hoping for us to be able to get a 2 bedroom unit when the 2nd and 3rd tower opens soon!
I love our summer home! SMDC Light Residences is a good choice for small families or couples starting or just married or for expats.
I just hope they keep the place spick and span and the admin and security will continue doing a good job. As of today I was annoyer by the number of flies in the pool area and the people swimming not wearing proper swimming attire. As far as I know residence were advised tonwear proper swimming gear. I guess those who came wearing sandos and cottons are relatives or friends of residents who came over for the Holy Week staycation.
Stay gorgeous everyone!
