A revolutionary approach to family entertainment will rise in the Philippines soon — actually sooner than you think. City of Dreams Manila,the worlds first Dream Play edutainment (education and entertainment) center is being developed by Melco Crown Entertainment and iP2 entertainment.
City of Dreams Manila by Lawrence Ho and James Packer will feature Dreamworks Animation, such as characters from Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon. It will be a venue where guest can immerse themselves in the world of these animated character, interacting directly with these characters through revolutionary experiences. Interactive environments featuring the very latest digital technology.
The concept of DreamPlay involves Dreamworks library with hands-on-activities of an education inspired play-center to create a truly one-of-a-kind family adventure.
Manila was chosen as the country to host this one-of-a-kind edutainment center as they acknowledge that the Philippines is the perfect place for a family orientated leisure destination.
DreamPlay by Dreamworks will open same time as City of Dreams Manila opening sometime later in 2014 at the Entertainment City , Manila Bay, Manila and will be operated by Melco Crown Philippines in alliance with SM Group’s Belle Corporation.
City of Dreams Manila is a dynamic and innovative resort complex, located on an approximately 6.. hectares site at the Entertainment City which will have hotel, retail and dining and lifestyle experiences with aggregated gaming spaces.
I was able to have a glimpse of what to expect at DreamPlay and I must say as a parent, and a kid-at-heart I am so excited. I can’t wait to bring my dear daughter there so she can have fun learning and interacting with her favorite Dreamworks characters just like mommy did at the preview.
Celebrating the announcement of City of Dreams Manila’s introduction of DreamWorks Animations and the DreamPlay edutainment center to its planned thrilling entertainment and leisure destination resort at Entertainment City, Manila.
