I am a cat lover. Eversince I was a toddler cats were my best pet ever. But there was a drawback, I am allergic to cat dander. I never knew about being allergic to it until I was in highschool. I thought I just had a weak immune system and that I suffer from a bad cold every morning of my life (sipuning bata).
Yes, I endured post nasal drips, swelling teary eyes, sneezes and all each morning of my gradeschool life. My parents didn’t know any better then, both were also busy at work and are out even before I wake to witness my morning sneezes.
My morning sneezes went away as soon as I leave home and get myself in school. The entire day and night I am OK. Until the next morning, all because I played with my cats that night. And the cycle goes on.
When we moved out of the old house we used to live when I was in gradeschool. Our cats didn’t move in with us. I had no control over who gets to move in or not back then. But when we got to our new house in highschool there were two cats who asked to be adopted. They were a couple I guess and we named them Pututoy and Pututay.
A few minutes I was playing with them my nose got very itchy, my eyes started to itch, and then I get sneezes, then post nasal drip.
I used to take cold medicines before until one time a doctor I consulted for other reasons taught me about medicines for allergic rhinitis because apparently I have it.
I became dependent to allergy meds for awhile because I don’t want to get rid of our cats. I don’t take the meds everyday. But I knew better when I feel a small itch on my nose I wash my hands and face immediately and stop petting the cats for awhile.
Last April, Nasoclear (Sodium Chloride) was delivered to my home so I can try it out for my allergy. Incidentally same month, we moved out. The cats were left behind and all the tales that come along with the old house we lived for more than 20 years. Fortunately I have not had an allergic attack since then and so this 30ml of Nasoaclear I have has not been tried and tested by me. I am hoping I never get to try it ever though.
The packaging is new to me and kinda intimidating. I read from the instructions that you stick it up your nose (the nozzle) then squeeze it a pit and sniff whatever comes out of it.
If you are allergic to sodium chloride don’t use this product or expect the worst! NasoClear is a nasal spray and is available in your local drugstore produced by Unilab.
You can use it if you have nasal congestion, cold or flu symptoms, nasal irritations, upper airway cough and nasal allergies.
Have you tried this product yet? How was it?
