“So, what do you want to do with your hair?” David Mercer, International Direcotr of Toni & Guy Malaysia asked as he approached me on my salon seat at the L’Oreal Academy in Ortigas.
“I want a lighter hair color.” I said.
“How about the length do you want to cut it or keep it this way,” he again inquired.
“I want to keep the length at the moment. But what do you suggest looks good, you are the expert,” I replied.
“Well, I think your hair length and texture is gorgeous. Let’s keep it this way. And if you wanna go light, we can do your hair in the morning because it will take a lot of hours to get an amazing blonde shade. I think blonde will look good on you it will bring out your beautiful skin tone. After all blondes have all the fun,” he said.
David Mercer, started his hair dressing career for over 35 years ago in the UK as an assistant to Anthony Mascolo, the founder of Toni & Guy. He relocated in Asia in 1995 and introduced it in Southeast Asia and has established a chain of highly successful salons and two academies in Singapore and Malaysia, all practicing the comprehensive Toni & Guy educational formula used worldwide.
